Back then, only one organic shop operated in Marbella, which has meanwhile closed, thus we are now the oldest supplier of organic groceries in Marbella. Fortunately many new shops offer organic food in the area now.

Oxidation Reduction Potential is one of the keys to your health

On a scale from -400 to +400 different beverages are compared according to their acidity. Where soft drinks are very high in acidity ( +400) and favor oxidation and increase the number of free radicals, green tea (-100) does the opposite. Alkaline food and water will still be better for you, a fresh organic orange juice (-200) and a glass of alkaline water ( up to -400) will eliminate free radicals from your bloodstream.

Why an alkaline diet will boost the ph level of your blood

PH levels in our blood are finally tuned; the scale runs from 0.3 to 0.9, the higher the better. Levels from 0.7 to 0.9 spell healthy blood, plenty of red blood cells on the lower scale, 0.3 means cancer, 0.4 diabetes 0.5 unhealthy blood. Ideally your ph blood level will be slightly alkaline, between 0.7365 and 0.745. The ph scale is logarithmic which implies that the difference between .06 and .07 no is one but ten. 0.6 is ten times more acid than 0.7 and 0.5 is a hundred times more acid than 0.7. A glass of coke with a ph level of 0.25 is fifty thousand times more acid than 0.7 and it would require 36 glasses of pure alkaline water to compensate the acidity of one glass of coke. Andalucia Ecologica’s organic food delivery service has been serving the residents of the Costa del Sol now for more than seven years.  We are very proud that we have been able to establish a solid link between local organic farms and customers on the coast.

We believe it to be quite extraordinary that our venture to supply reasonably priced quality food has an ever increasing customer base. We have supplied almost 22.000 orders and are proud to have over 900 customers. No other supplier of organic food on the Costa del Sol can match these numbers.  

We provide you with a highly efficient service which allows you to receive you organic food deliveries without any complications.  With Andalucia Ecologica, you and your family can enjoy quality food produced by environmentally friendly farms.

How Do We Operate

Our operational base is at the Marbella Central Market, where we prepare your order. You are welcome to come and visit us at EcoMarbella’s stall from Monday to Friday morning. Every Friday our website is updated and reflects what is currently in season.

We deliver daily fresh fruit and vegetables in Marbella and surroundings and if we receive your order before 8AM you can generally count on the delivery the same day.

  

We offer also weekly deliveries to la Cala de Mijas, Fuengirola, Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Alhaurin, as well as Estepona, Sotogrande, La Aicadesa and the Gibraltar frontier.

If you like to order organic meat, please be aware that we work with two organic butchers, one located close to the Natural Park of Doñana, an area set aside to organic farming in the province of Seville, the other one outside Barcelona.  The logistics to supply you with fresh organic meat requires that we need to receive your order by Saturday evening and start deliveries the following Wednesday.

The organic bread available comes from an organic bakery in the hills above Tarifa. We need to know your requirements by Saturday morning at the latest.

Please remember that the prices in our web shop are generally for half kilos (the delivery note will give you the kilo price and the exact weight) as that allows our customers to purchase smaller quantities. If an organic produce does not meet your expectations, just let us know. We’ll refund the amount without any questions.

Delivery costs are 3€ per order and you can pay your groceries upon delivery either in cash or by credit card. We do not accept online payments as the total amount depends on availability and weight.

Where to buy organic food in Marbella?

Only a few years ago it was virtually impossible to buy organic food in Marbella. In recent times this has thankfully changed. Although a number of shops and delivery services start trading, only few actually can show proof that what they sell is actually organic.

AndaluciaEcologica is a soil association certified organic home delivery service and EcoMarbella at Marbella’s Central Market probably offers the widest selection of quality organic food on the Costa del Sol.

Sadly, many other so called organic shops or delivery services, including food sold at some stalls at the farmers markets, does not offer any guarantees that the produce sold there is actually organic. Your best bet is to ask your supplier for a copy of the certificate of the certifying body, usually the CAA in Andalusia that gives you the security that what you buy is free of pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
